Portrait Image Guidelines

The most crucial part of your order, which will impact the quality of your portrait, is the quality of the image uploaded. The better the quality, the more our talented designers will have to work with.

Here are some tips and guidelines that will help us create the masterpiece your pet deserves.

  • Ensure the photo taken is taken in daylight or in a well lit room.
  • Make sure the photo is of good resolution (sometimes a wipe of your camera lens makes all the difference)
  • Make sure your pet is looking directly at the camera, head on, preferably at eye level. (If your pet is at an angle, they will be illustrated like that).
  • Any leashes, collars, harnesses or accessories will be removed from the photo.
  • Lighting filters are acceptable, but please avoid any filters which alter the colour of your pet.
  • If you have any special requests, please leave these notes at checkout and we will reach out and see if we can make it work.
